Format: The first time we gather, it will be an introductory meeting where we’ll get to know each other and go over what the class is and what to expect. We’ll give you a notebook with materials from THE SUMMIT CHURCH’S GRIEF SEMINAR: TAKING THE JOURNEY OF GRIEF WITH HOPE that contains notes and links to one short 20 minute video lesson each week that you’ll watch at home; you can read over the lesson notes and work through journaling your answers. When we meet together on Thursdays, we’ll do a brief (5 min) summary of what you read/watched that week and we will discuss and share about what we learned. We will end our time in prayer.
The Bible has a lot to say about sorrow, grief, and death. And, in the Bible, we can find help and hope for our souls. We want you to know that you are not alone! If someone close to you has died and you and are struggling with grief, we invite you to join us as we take the journey of grief toward hope together.
